2XKO Arcane Skins

Here's the Arcane skin collection for 2XKO which I had the pleasure of handling art direction for.

We started working on these skins early in development and it's only much later that they became a cohesive collection with all the extra features such as custom VFX, themed KO, etc.

One fun bit of trivia is how the cosmetic toggle was born. When coming up with Vi's look, our Art Director was a fan of her jacket while I was quite keen on exposing her tattoos like in the show. Our tech art team made everyone's day when they came up with a solution that would allow players to chose between both provided they entered a "secret code" during match loading. This new feature was really exciting and we immediately looked for opportunities to use it on Arcane Ekko and Jinx as well.

It was an honor bringing a little Arcane to 2XKO and taking inspiration from Fortiche's masterful work. I was very passionate about this skinline in particular and even did a bit of modeling on Vi. Warwick is getting fewer images here because my contribution was limited to the concept phase. In the end, each skin is a massive team effort and you can find extended credits below:
